Since installing the Pathfinder power hub I have had 2 batteries fail on my 2023 Goldwing. I don't know if there is a relationship between the failures and the power hub but If anyone has had similar issues I would like to hear from them. I returned last week from a 4000 mile road trip and everything worked fine. 2 days ago I had a second battery fail. I have disconnected the power hub now.
I’ve had the hub since it first came out and Cruiseman’s install video on my 2019. Driven 20k with it without any battery problems whatsoever. However have always put my bike on my battery tender every-time I’m finished a ride. I changed my battery out at the third year even though I had no issues. It is a Florida thing with me, and I do the same with my car. My old battery is used to test accessories, and it is still at 13 plus volts after two years, as it too has been on a constant Battery Tender.
what type of failure is it? have you checked your ground connection?
I have a systemic power draw on my 2024 DCT. I have the Goldstrike power block and the normal add ons but have a phantom/vampire electrical draw down on the battery and after 5 days I’m down to 65%. I was gone for 2 weeks to test the draw down and was at 27% when I returned barely turning the bike over. I bought the bike used in September and always have had an Optimate 6 on it until abut 2 months ago. I replaced the battery with a new Yuasa. The only passive draw I can see is the Ciro 3D charger is on but no phone is charging when the Wing is garaged. Any suggestions?
try either keeping the FOB a good distance from the bike or turning the FOB off. you can put an amp meter in series from the positive side of the battery to try to track down the draw.
