I'm in northern Ohio and talked to my local Honda dealer to about the recall. All appointments were booked for April and May. They could have got me in this week but our roads are still covered in salt and I didn't want to drive it. After little pressure he agreed to Chris's suggestion of taking pictures.
He wanted the following pic's, the whole bike, the odometer reading, the top of the fuel tank and a clear picture of the date code on the fuel pump.
He didn't want me to email them from my phone until i was at the store. Turned out, my 2021 Goldwing Tour MT, did not need a repair. However he wanted me to sign a work order to they can get paid for the inspection. IF YOURS HAS TO BE REPAIRED, THEY ARE GOING TO PULL THE FUEL PUMP, REPLACE A PART INSIDE AND REINSTALL YOUR OLD PUMP.

I'm in south Louisiana and my local dealer told me he would not get parts until the end of April. My bike has 50 thousand miles of unfailing reliability. I've spent many days riding 12 hours or more and a few riding 21 hours plus. I sure wish I knew more about these pump failures. I'm headed west in mid May and may not get the opportunity to get the recall performed. My bike is still under extended warranty so the dealer said to go and if anything happened any Honda dealer would have to fix the bike. the problem is out west it may be a hundred or more miles to a dealer and if they have the parts. Does anyone know if these pumps are failing after years of service?
